We loved the location and surrounding area, but unfortunately our experience with Palmetto Pointe Apartments and management was extremely disappointing. The apartment was outdated, had a cigarette smell when we moved in, and the dishwasher was broken for months. We also went nearly 9 months without regular pest control, despite the property having a serious cockroach problem. Our apartment had an infestation, which was extremely disgusting. We are very clean people, and our apartment was never nasty or dirty, so the pest issue was extremely frustrating.

RENTERS BEWARE!! We moved into Palmetto Pointe on June 26, 2026, and before we had even gotten all of our belongings/boxes inside, on June 27th, I informed Sydney that I had noticed roaches. I was assured they were “outside bugs” and that they would handle it. Weeks went by before someone finally came out to spray. In the meantime, the problem continued to get worse. I begged and pleaded with management to please do something because we could not live like this. Instead, I was repeatedly sent back and forth between several different people trying to get someone to take the situation seriously.
